Stuff Exchange Disclaimer
This is the user agreement for The Student Centers’ Stuff Exchange. This agreement outlines the terms and conditions applicable to the use of the services provided at http://stuffexchange.studentcenter.org. We reserve the right to amend this agreement at any time, and it is your responsibility to review any changes. Your use of the site indicates your approval and acceptance of any terms mentioned in this agreement.

1. Fees and other Charges
The use of this website is free. Unless otherwise stated, prices are quoted in U.S. dollars. You are responsible for paying any applicable taxes that your state, province, country, or other domicile may impose.

2. Stuff Exchange’s Role
Stuff Exchange is a medium between the buyer and the seller. We are a venue that allows two parties to negotiate and complete transactions. Stuff Exchange is not involved in the actual transaction, and therefore it is the responsibility of the buyer and the seller to agree to terms. The Student Center is not responsible for any items listed incorrectly. In addition, any users of the Stuff Exchange agree to do so at their own risk. If an item listed on the site is sold, both the buyer and the seller are required to uphold and complete the transaction. The Student Center is not responsible if either the buyer or the seller violates their agreement.

3. General Release
In the event that you have a dispute with one or more users, you release The Student Center (and our officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries and employees) from claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes.

4. Reservation of Rights
The Student Center reserves the right to, at any time, halt or prevent any transaction or item for sale or take any other action to restrict access to: objectionable material, inaccurate listings, unlawful items, or any other items that The Student Center feel is inappropriate for the site.

5. Illegal Activity
Stuff Exchange may only be used for lawful purposes, and all actions taken must be legal. Expressing interest for the manipulation of the selling process is strictly prohibited. It is also illegal to in any way influence user behavior on the site. All local laws are also applicable and it is the responsibility of the user to uphold those laws.

6. Warranties
All items listed on this site are on an ‘as is’ basis. It is the responsibility of the seller to indicate the condition of any items for sale, and the sole risk of the buyer when expressing interest. Therefore, The Student Center gives no warranties or guarantee for any items on this site.

7. Limitation of Liability
Stuff Exchange and The Student Center will not be liable for any damages of any kind including without limitation direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive and consequential damages, arising out or of in connection with this agreement, the site, the services, the inability to use the services or those resulting from any goods or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transaction entered into through the services whether such damages arise under theory of contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise.

8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us and (as applicable) our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, agents, and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of this Agreement or the documents it incorporates by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

9. Legal Compliance
You shall comply with all applicable domestic and international laws, statutes, ordinances and regulations regarding your use of our service and your bidding on, listing, purchase, solicitation of offers to purchase, and sale of items.
